I'm coming to realize I'm no spring chicken anymore - whether it's that my metabolism is slowly dying a painful, agonizing death as I get further into my 30s, or perhaps it's just nature's cruel way of reminding me that oh yes, I DID birth some 10 pound babies (they were adorable, but my goodness) - I know I have to actually WORK at being healthy now.
My first thought was that I should go back to the Taco Bell/vodka diet I maintained in my early 20s - after all, I was pretty darn tone back then - but perhaps that was also from dancing all night in nightclubs and not sleeping - not exactly something I can pull off anymore (nor would I really want to).
So instead we're going about this the old fashioned way - healthier food (smaller portions too) and more exercise. My main issue is that I'm a food lover, so I need a good plan (I don't have it in my heart to cut out carbs, and I'm not interested in pills or shakes or anything drastic).
