With older kids, you can always add in more elements to make the party more fun - movie trivia, contest/games, etc (and of course see past adult movie parties for the REAL fun, with themed shots and such). Such a great, fun, social way to enjoy your latest favorite movie!! :)
We LOVE throwing movie parties at our house, and this one was so much fun for the kids! (Who am I kidding - the adults in attendance loved it too!) We had a "Greatest Showman Party!!" Cue the wall art made by my 9 year old: We had a pizza party first, then headed down to the movie room where there was a candy bar set up for dessert: After filling up their candy bowls, we got them all situated to start the movie! They were so excited!! As you probably know by now, that film is AMAZING. The kids had so much fun singing all of the songs together! We had a karaoke machine set up afterwards with the soundtrack, but I think after all the sugar coursing through their bodies, they wanted to get up and run around for a while instead. It was a blast!!

AuthorI love writing romance novels, editing other people's novels, planning parties (heavy on the theme food!) and watching movies. Cooking has also become a passion of mine (because you can't have a proper party without food!) and I love finding new hobbies when I can squeeze them in. Archives
