My mom has introduced me to something absolutely amazing though - and I am willing to bet that some deviled egg haters may find that they actually love this - BACON RANCH DEVILED EGGS!
Now obviously I have to start off with the disclaimer that I may love ranch dressing more than anyone else on the planet (seriously, people used to bet me at church camp every summer that I wouldn't drink the bottle of it on the table - easiest $5 bucks I won every summer!) Heck, there were times when I was a poor college student where I would run out of milk or butter - so I used ranch in my mac-n-cheese. Yep, I did that. (Sorry, I'm really losing you now, right?! Hang with me for another minute!)
This take on deviled eggs is so easy (only 3 ingredients - eggs, ranch, and bacon!) and the taste is entirely different (and dare I say way better!) than what you're used to. And it's even possible that once you try these, you may never go back to making regular deviled eggs again.
See, I told you this was easy. Whip it until it's the consistency you like (less ranch for a stiffer filling, more ranch if you want them to be creamier) and scoop back into your egg whites. Obviously the paprika is optional, but I like it because it makes them pretty - and if you know me at all, you know I'm a sucker for pretty food.
Then - devour. I'm serious, this will change how you feel about deviled eggs - if you weren't a fan of them to begin with, this may hook you... And if you already love them - well, prepare to love them even more. And if you want to watch me eat an entire tray of them - just dare me $5 bucks and I swear I'll do it.
So the next time you're attending a picnic or a potluck, or for a side dish for one of your upcoming holiday dinners, PLEASE try this out! I cannot imagine you will be disappointed (unless you don't like ranch/bacon of course - in which case maybe we shouldn't be friends anyway - or at the very least, you're never going to want to come over to my house for dinner... :).
