Next Friday hopefully I'll finally be ready for the full mudroom makeover reveal! Fingers crossed!! Just a few more touches with the power drill! :)
In my valiant effort to organize my life for 2016, I fully admit that one of the chronic problems we have in my house is the misplacement of library books - whether they go for a car ride, or perhaps they just get lost in the huge pile of books near/around my kids' beds, or maybe the dryer eats them up like lost socks - it seems like we know where they are for 6 straight days, and then of course library day comes around and the books are just nowhere to be found. So, we now have a home for these: The library books stay on the backpack shelf and now every time it's library day, these books are already separated from the stacks of other books my kids own so they never get misplaced! This is just a cheap letter holder I picked up from TJ Maxx on clearance for a few bucks: It's the perfect size for their books, and exactly what I needed to keep them separated from everything else. Whoo hooo! No more "full family searches" for books at 8pm the night before library day, and no more book fees (which thankfully they send back months later when you DO finally find those lost books... :) It's amazing how one little organizer like this can save me so much time and money and frustration!

AuthorI love writing romance novels, editing other people's novels, planning parties (heavy on the theme food!) and watching movies. Cooking has also become a passion of mine (because you can't have a proper party without food!) and I love finding new hobbies when I can squeeze them in. Archives
