So ignore your mama's advice and PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD! (And yes, Food Monsters even taste better than regular food if you were wondering - I swear...) :)
Whether you have a picky little eater, or one who eats everything (I have both) we are big fans of Food Monsters in my house - not only is it fun, but I can get the kiddos (even the really picky one!) to try just about ANYTHING if it looks like a monster! The props are ever changing, which keeps it fun (translation = the items change based on whatever is in the pantry on that particular day! :) and anything goes when it comes to turning your food into monsters. We often use fruit (grapes are great for eyeballs and apple slices make great lips/mouths!) and assorted crackers are a crowd favorite. My kids like making theirs different each time! So if you ever want a fun meal, or if you're trying to get your child to try a new-but-scary looking food (this is especially helpful for things like tuna, chicken salad, even pulled pork sandwiches, stuff like that!) this is such a great way to get them excited about it! (And even if it's a plain ole burger that they already love, this is just plain FUN!)
So ignore your mama's advice and PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD! (And yes, Food Monsters even taste better than regular food if you were wondering - I swear...) :)

AuthorI love writing romance novels, editing other people's novels, planning parties (heavy on the theme food!) and watching movies. Cooking has also become a passion of mine (because you can't have a proper party without food!) and I love finding new hobbies when I can squeeze them in. Archives
